"Tiny bubbles in my wine, make me happy, make me feel fine..."
This past weekend I discovered another thing that I like about Austin...
"Bubble Fest" at the local wine bar.
Two and half hours sipping champagne on a glorious sunny "winter" afternoon.
Oh and its a great way to make friends. If you ever thought Texans were generally friendly, wait till you start drink champagne with them in the middle of the day. Guys in cowboy boots were giggling!

p.s. I treated this tasting as a fact finding mission. I took copious notes and will use them to purchase festive new years beverages!
p.p.s. Since this was an educational event, can i write it off on my taxes?
