'Tis a beautiful "winter" day in Austin - 70s and sunshine! So, I decided to hit up some sales...
I was in Anthropologie plundering the sales racks and tables when I happened upon a gorgeous green velvet skirt with gold embroidery. I held it up to my waist, and it looked a wee bit big. I asked the sales woman if they had it in a smaller size (couldnt find the tag). She replied, "thats a tree skirt..." and looked at me like I had devil horns poking out of a burka.
"So, I take it thats a no..."
For the record, I serisouly considered buying it and bringing it to a tailor. Afterall, Scarlett O'Hara maid a lovely dress out of geen velvet drapes...
